Smokestack Lightnin’
Listen Now: Smokestack Lightnin' on Radio Submit

Smokestack Lightnin’is a FREE high quality syndicated Blues program that has been a highly successful radio fixture in Orlando since 1991, and on NPR station WUCF since 2002. Prior to that the show had a long successful run on WLOQ FM in Winter Park, the Orlando area’s #1 commercial jazz station. If you want to listen to the most recent show in its entirety, please go to www.smokestacklightnin.com . We believe our web site is the most comprehensive blues resource in the world. There you can not only listen to the show that was broadcast last Saturday night on WUCF and the KJazz network stations in Arizona, but you can also learn all about the show by visiting the “history” page. If you listen to the show online I believe you will find it to be highly professional while at the same time having a loose, friendly feel. We have four distinctly different DJs who each lend a different perspective to the music as you can hear in the sound bites. Each DJ does one 3 hour show per month. The soundbites provided give a brief glimpse of the personality of our four DJs. Please keep in mind that the soundbites were ripped at 128mbps to save space. The show is provided at a very high fidelity of 192kbps.

Please email me at nthompsonjr@cfl.rr.com or at blues@smokestacklightnin.com or call me at 407-620-2246 if you have any interest. Sincerely, Tommy Thompson, Program Manager of Smokestack Lightnin’

At the Crossroads
Listen Now: At the Crossroads on Radio Submit

At the Crossroads (ATC) is a weekly one-hour syndicated radio show that is, well, true blues. Using the handles 'the very best in blues' and 'nothing but the blues,' it tends to avoid the rockier side of things and showcases many offshoots of the blues - soul, classic R&B, zydeo and lots more. ATC is music intensive and mainly contemporary, and regular features include a classic cut or artist, plus a two-song spotlight on a new blues release. Informative and professionally produced, the show draws its music from the U.S., Canada and around the world. At the Crossroads is supported by a comprehensive website at www.atcblues.ca, and a download section is provided for radio stations. The show is available at very reasonable cost, and all commercial avails become property of the subscriber. For more information, please contact the host, Brant Zwicker: brant@atcblues.ca.
